Paper Plate Skeleton

This activity keeps hands busy with supplies you likely already have in your house!

This activity is suitable for children ages 3-10.

Materials Needed:

  • Paper plates
  • String
  • Hole punch
  • Scissors

Directions:

Reference the picture above to begin cutting our skeleton. You will need 4 equal arm bones, 4 equal leg bones, 1 shoulder area cutout, one pelvic cut out, and one rib cut out. You can trace and cut out yours or your child's hands and feet to finalize the skeleton. Lastly, cut out the shape of the skull and allow your child to draw a face for your skeleton!

Once all pieces are shaped and cut, punch holes to create the joint connections. Use string to connect each joint. When all bones are connected, you can hang your skeleton on the wall to display!
