Sean is a graduate of the University of Washington's MEDEX 2008 Physician Assistant program. He is from Washington and enjoys making this state home. Sean has been with Proliance Orthopedic Associates since 2016 and primarily works in conjunction with Dr. Fred Huang. His background includes prior Orthopedic clinic and surgical experience focusing on sports medicine and joint replacements, along with 7 years of Family Practice.
Outside his civilian occupation, Sean is also a veteran of 20 years in the US Navy, both active and reserve. He is currently selected for Lieutenant Commander, and is the Battalion Surgeon for Combat Logistics Battalion 23, a Marine reserve unit out of JBLM, Tacoma. He has done two deployments, one in Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom from 2012-2013, and "somewhere in the Middle East" for Operation Inherent Resolve 2015-2016. His most meaningful experience with the military is the humanitarian medical work he's been able to do both on deployment and in training exercises.
Outside of work and his military requirements, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Time is well spent participating in his children's sports, exercising-focusing on high intensity training, or riding his Harley.
