As team orthopedic doctors for the Seattle Thunderbirds, POA is proud to announce that the T-Birds won the Western Conference Championship on Wednesday night, April 27. They swept the best-of-seven series against the Kelowna Rockets 4-0 to be crowned champions.
The T-Birds came back from two goals down with 1:15 left in the third period of game four. They tied the game 4-4 to force overtime. Matthew Wedman then scored the game-winning goal at 7:52 of the second overtime.
